Being a modeller for quite a few years now, I decided to explore the endless possibilities that the world (through internet) offers, and come up with a series of ways of building, modelling and painting fast (but not hastily), to create the worlds I was seeing in history books since I was little. . .If you care to join me. . . This is the place to be! And, I promise you to find the way (or ways)!!

Plastic Soldier Company - Panzer IV

Goodmorning everyone!

Hope you are all well!
Last weekend I've finished PSC's - Panzer IV tanks. Their 'entry' to the market, came to fill the gap (at least for us wargamers - since they are fast-build models), and IMO the anticipation was long, but it was worth it.
When buying the kit, you have a selection of three versions (early, mid and late) to make. I decided to follow the late version . . . and because many discussions have been made about the 'bulky' commander figures that come with the Panzers, I decided to back up the models, by using the ones that the kit offers! :-)

I hope you like them!!

  1. Very nice Thanos, the camo is very well done, airbrushed? I hope you don't mind me pointing out that the Pz IVH had the single round hatch, it doesn't really matter I suppose, will you add decals? the figs turned out OK, I don't think they look to bulky, I cut mine down so they are only peeping their heads out of the hatch.

  2. Nice work Mr T. Those tanks are definitely on my list of things to get, & I too would be wanting to do them for Late War.
    Sorry, slightly confused, are they the PSC tank commanders or have you replaced them with different minis? If so, what?
    Keep up the good work.

  7. Very nice, the tanks as well as the crewmembers. Great job, T.! I´ve just ordered the Panzer IV from Armourfast. I hope they are as nice as the PSC, but I fear I´ve made the wrong decision...

  13. Thank you guys for your kind words, once more!
    @Dan: I know that historical consistency, isn't my strongest point, and consequently I may do some mistakes every now and then.
    @Angy Lurker: I haven't received any mail from you mate - my address is oriflamme_81@hotmail.com
    I must say that you are very kind, but I ask you to say what you need and don't have in order to send it to you - that's what I consider a fair deal! :-)
    @Nick Grant: 3 models / kit mate, you're right.
    @Mork: Hat doesn't produce PZ IV's, only III's (at least for the time being). They will be just fine for your early war forces!
    @Al: You won't regret it mate! I'm glad that I made someone buy this kit - I should ask for a comission from PSC!! ;-)
